Finally getting to watch the debate (was picking up my aunt from the airport) and whooo chile! I am deeply concerned about the folks who keep deflecting on the need for debate. What are your major takeaways last night?
I was definitely here for Castro checking Biden. I thought it was good of him to acknowledge the progress that was made by former President Obama while at the same time saying that it wasn't enough and had its own shortcomings. Apparently it is a sin to say things weren't perfect under PBO and it's taken as an attack. >_< Anywho besides that, I thought it was mad shady how all those people piled on Castro for his check of Biden. I'm sideeyeing Klobuchar & Buttigieg for being whiny about the differences in opinion. I think they forgot what the point of a debate is. Beto was a standout, and I'm still hoping he will challenge Coryn for his senate seat. I really want to see just a debate between Sanders, Warren, Castro, Biden & Beto at this point though.
